Within the Charles-De-Gaulle airport area, for the client Aeroport de Paris, Simeon realised the façades of the building connecting building 1 to building 3 of terminal T1.

In detail, our team dealt with the following aspects of the project:

– the creation of the mullion/transom steel facades of the new building;
– the creation of the new mullion/transom steel facades of sites 1 and 3;
– the creation of the facades of the walkways giving access to the planes;
– The creation of the monumental façade imprinted with the image of Terminal 1;
– the construction of 1500 m2 of suspended ceilings;
– the construction of 500 m2 of stainless steel sunshades.

Ecran façade

The peculiarity of this façade is the type of glass: it is in fact glass with a special screen-printing designed to obtain the reflected shadow of Terminal 1, which was opened in 1974 and designed by architect Paul Andreu, and is located on the opposite side of the taxiway.

Sunshades with stainless steel cladding with a height of approximately 4 metres, integrated and aligned with the cladding below.
